MAXIMUS cultivation roller is a modern farm machine that utilizes the latest technologies, supported by consultations with scientific institutions and farmers from all over Europe. Its technical data and modernized design of the framework confirms that MAXIMUS is a vanguard of technical knowledge, surpassing in many respects competitive European products. The hydraulic system was designed so that when spreading the side wings of the roller to their working position, the pressure to the soil is distributed evenly over all its sections – this system is called HYDRO-PRESS . MAXIMUS Cambridge rollers are designed for compacting the top layer of the soil immediately after ploughing, before or after sowing, as well as for creating its crumb structure. Particularly useful on compact and loamy soils, as it splendidly shreds ploughed ridges and lumps. The machine compacts and levells the top layer of the soil at the same time. Due to their special profile, the roller rings penetrate through the soil, compacting its top layer. A significant weight per meter of width provides sufficient hardening and levelling of arable land. This avoids forming deep ruts during subsequent passes, and better capillarity of the soil results in considerably higher seedling capacity. The direct benefits from the use rollers are: field levelling and breakdown of solids; improved seed-soil contact, which has significant impact on the uniformity of germination; moisture retention; soil erosion reduction; improved soil structure. MAXIMUS rollers can be successfully used for post-harvest cultivation in order to accelerate the process of putrefaction of straw and crop residues, as well as the germination process of scattered seeds, including weed seeds. These machines are also utilized on grassland.
