Seed bed cultivator
„WICHER" ("WHIRLWIND") - is a modern cultivation machine in operating widths from 2.50 to 5.70 meters. Operation of this aggregate can be divided into five stages:
- Wheels traces scarifying (wheel ruts after tractor) by means of scarifiers with spring tension;
- Crushing by means of nine string front rollers. Front and rear string rollers, embedded on bearing units support the whole aggregate.
- Soil scarifying - the heavy duty teeth cultivator type are responsible for this operation. They are finished with so called "goose foot" at 180 mm width.
- Fragmentation and alignment - the rear string roll plays the major role during this stage along with the aligning bar, situated directly besides. The roller splits lumps and clods ensuring very good clotty structure.
- Compacting - the pin roll at 370 mm diameter performs the secondary compacting and final preparation of the soil for seeding. Adjustment of depth is realized in the simple way by means of adjusting tie rod.
